- Our client is one of United States leading insurance provider who is seeking a Quality Tester to test its stack of developed web applications.
Responsibilities:
- Reviewing and analyzing system specifications.
- Executing test scripts/plans and reviewing results.
- Reporting and documenting technical issues.
- Collaborate with QA Engineers to develop effective strategies and test plans.
- Create logs to document testing phases and defects.
- Report bugs and errors to development teams.
- Help troubleshoot issues by identifying the root cause of the issue and providing the most accurate resolution.
- Work with cross-functional teams to ensure quality throughout the software development lifecycle.
- Ultimately, to ensure that our products, applications and systems work correctly, with minimal to zero failure probability.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree holder in in Computer Science, Computer Engineering or any computer-related course with strong and working knowledge as software quality assurance tester.
- Detail Oriented with strong problem solving skills.
- Excellent written and oral communication skills.
- Proven experience and track record as a QA tester in Microsoft technology oriented environment or similar role is preferred.
- Excellent understanding of QA processes and methodologies.
- Familiar to Microsoft .Net and SQL Server.
- Familiarity with Agile frameworks and regression testing is preferred.
