Arhpez Technologies (Pvt.) Ltd. is a startup software company, and we are looking for qualified, enthusiastic, and motivated resources who are willing to learn and grow with the company.
Required are experienced senior native iOS mobile app developers to develop mobile products/apps for our U.S. Partner. Applicants must posses significant prior development experience, entailing developing mobile apps on their own, and in a team environment.
Applicants must be self-starters, able to work independently, meet deadlines, be quick learners, good problem solvers, and willing to work in a startup environment. Applicants must have English language proficiency.
Current requirement is for first-shift, though in the future (based on client needs), some positions may move to second or third shifts, to meet client requirements & needs. There will be a requirement to attend some meetings/calls during U.S. late morning hours (i.e. after 10 PM Pakistan time) with all shifts.
Objectives:

Translate designs and wireframes into high quality code
-
Design and build advanced applications for iOS and OS X
-
Design, build, and maintain high performance, reusable, and reliable code
-
Ensure the best possible performance, quality, and responsiveness of applications
-
Collaborate with U.S. partner team to define, design, and ship new features
-
Help maintain code quality, organization and automatization
-
Write clean, well designed code, that is easily maintainable and properly + thoroughly documented
-
Unit-test code for robustness, including edge cases, usability, and general reliability
-
Identify and correct bottlenecks, work on bug fixing and improving application performance
-
Follow industry best practices
iOS Developer Requirements

BS/MS degree in Computer Science
-
Proficient with Objective-C or Swift (depending on project requirements), and Cocoa Touch
-
Experience with iOS frameworks such as Core Data, Core Animation, Core Graphics etc.

Solid understanding of object-oriented programming
-
Experience with Cocoa APIs on OS X
-
Good knowledge of performance limits and characteristics
-
Knowledge of memory management and multi-threading
-
Experience with embedded databases and other system datastores
-
Familiarity with RESTful APIs to connect to back-end services
-
Good sense of UI design and a user-oriented focus
-
Knowledge of low-level C-based libraries is a plus
-
Implementation of automated testing platforms and unit tests

Knack for benchmarking and optimization

Understanding of Apple’s design principles and interface guidelines
-
Proficient understanding of code versioning tools {e.g. Git, Mercurial or SVN}
-
Familiarity with continuous integration
-
Advanced understanding of the full mobile development life cycle, architectures, trends, and emerging technologies
