• Provide leadership and supervision to the IT Support team, ensuring appropriate skilled resources to meet service level requirements.
  • Offer technical support and guidance to Support staff.
  • Directly engage in incidents or problems causing service impact and act as an escalation point for unresolved issues.
  • Implement ITIL Service disciplines covering Incident, Problem, and Change Management.
  • Provide VM and Hyper V support and administration.
  • Administer support for Switches, Firewall, and Routers.
  • Collaborate with the IT director to establish standards and best practices for managing internal infrastructure.
  • Implement policies/standards to enhance the quality and efficiency of support services based on ITIL methodology.
  • Work closely with IT Support and other Specialists to ensure a robust service transition process.
  • Collaborate with the Support team to establish SLA criteria for IT infrastructure availability and performance.
  • Ensure overall system and infrastructure availability, developing resilient infrastructure to mitigate failures.
  • Manage day-to-day system administration, including internal network, VPN, Microsoft Active Directory (AD), and backups.
  • Oversee the rollout and support of desktop devices, laptops, printers, and productivity tools.
  • Maintain systems, processes, and methodologies for effective monitoring, control, and support of service delivery.
  • Ensure timely delivery of individual and team projects.
  • Monitor and evaluate the efficiency and effectiveness of infrastructure service delivery methods and procedures.
  • Monitor business-critical processes and systems.
  • Install, configure, and support new and existing servers and network infrastructure.
  • Plan and implement upgrades required to maintain service levels.
  • Lead the replacement of infrastructure at end-of-life.
  • Conduct testing and analysis of network and server infrastructure components.
  • Maintain server uptime consistent with business goals and metrics.
  • Continuously improve server and network performance, reliability, and security in line with ISO 27001 and best practices.
  • Schedule formal service reviews with key stakeholders and manage 3rd party IT/Internet service providers.
  • Manage team performance objectives and professional development, including training and development plans.
  • Identify opportunities to simplify IT operations through continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Provide occasional out-of-hours support.
  • Perform any other duties as required.
