Product Development Executive

We are seeking a highly motivated and detail-oriented Product Development Executive to join our team at [Textile Firm]. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in textile product development, with a keen eye for quality and market trends. The Product Development Executive will play a pivotal role in ensuring the timely development and delivery of high-quality textile products, from sampling to final dispatch.

Key Responsibilities:

Sampling Management
- Coordinate the sampling process, including stock update and dispatch arrangement.
- Ensure timely follow-up on sampling dispatches and arrangements.
- Arrange fabric for testing and manage the testing process in collaboration with internal and external labs.
Testing and Quality Assurance
- Oversee lab testing processes and ensure timely follow-up on test reports.
- Complete test report forms accurately in the Kontoor system.
- Handle Kontoor testing report applications efficiently.
Vendor Coordination
- Communicate with third-party labs and vendors to coordinate testing, order details, and shipment tracking.
- Resolve any issues that arise during the sampling and testing process.
Data Analysis and Market Research
- Collect and analyze sales data, customer feedback, and market trends to identify opportunities and potential challenges.
- Support the product development process by researching and identifying new trends and innovations in the market.
Stakeholder Communication
- Respond promptly to inquiries from internal and external stakeholders.
- Maintain clear and effective communication channels throughout the product development lifecycle.
Sample Coordination and Tracking
- Coordinate and track samples to ensure they meet quality standards and are delivered on time.
- Conduct daily dispatch shade reviews and review OTL test reports to ensure compliance.

Qualifications

Bachelor's degree in Textile Engineering, Fashion Design, or related field.
Proven experience in product development within the textile industry.
Strong understanding of textile testing processes and quality assurance standards.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite and familiarity with Kontoor or similar systems.
