The Admin &  HR Officer will assist in the hiring and documentation of all employees in timely and accurate

Manner and overall administration. He is responsible for providing support in the various human resource

Functions, which includes recruitment and selection, training and development, performance monitoring and Employee counseling.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide support to supervisors and staff to develop the skills and capabilities of staff.
  • Provide counseling to employees on policies and procedures.
  • Be actively involved in recruitment by preparing job descriptions, posting ads and managing the Hiring process.
  • Schedule job interviews and contact candidates as needed.
  • Develop training and development programs.
  • Support the management of disciplinary and grievance issues.
  • Monitor staff performance (Performance Evaluation) and attendance activities.
  • Provide information and assistance to staff, supervisors and Council on human resource and work related issues.
  • Facilitate day-to-day administrative activities such as Security, Safety and other administrative tasks.
  • Maintaining staff database ensuring maintenance of the information such as record of joining and Leaving dates and ensure that the database is regularly updated.
  • Ensure timely issuance of the contracts, experience letters etc.
  • Answer employees queries about HR-related issues.
  • Assist Finance Department by providing relevant employee information (e.g. leaves of absence, sick Days and work schedules).
  • Ensure all HR processes comply with donor and auditor’s requirements.
  • Perform other related duties as required

Experience / Skills

  • Minimum 2 years’ experience in Admin & HR preferably in Health related project
  • Minimum 16 years of education with Master’s degree in HRM/Management from HEC recognized university.
  • Strong computer skills in MS Office programs, particularly Excel.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Commitment to beneficiary accountability and humanitarian ethics.
  • Strong organizational skills as well as attention to detail.
