We are seeking a detail-oriented and experienced Accountant to manage our company’s financial records, ensure reporting accuracy, and support overall financial health. This role involves maintaining financial systems, preparing reports, handling reconciliations, and ensuring compliance with relevant regulations.
Key Responsibilities:Prepare and maintain financial records, including:
General ledger
Accounts payable/receivable
Bank reconciliations
Generate accurate and timely monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements
Monitor and analyze financial data to assist in budgeting and forecasting
Ensure compliance with:
Financial regulations
Company internal policies
Assist with internal and external audits, including the preparation of supporting documents
Calculate and file tax returns (e.g., GST, income tax) per local laws
Support payroll processing and employee expense reimbursements
Stay updated with changes in accounting standards and practices
Identify and recommend improvements to financial processes and systems
Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field(CPA/ACCA certification is a plus)
Proven experience as an Accountant or in a similar finance role
Strong understanding of accounting principles, standards, and regulations
Proficient in:
Accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Tally, or similar)
Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools
Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
Candidates with USA/Canadian experience are preferred
Experience working with audit firms will be an added advantage
