Sales tax compliance
1. Preparation of engagement letter for new clients and to obtain signed copy from client prior to commencement of work.
2. Requisition of information from client regarding sales and purchase during period.
3. Ensure that tax associates prepare the monthly sales tax returns on timely basis and reconciliations.
4. Responsible to review sales tax returns and accord approval for all indirect tax filings and reconciliations.
5. To send to the client a draft sales tax return together with required enclosures on email and accord their approval.
6. Submissions of sales tax returns on timely basis as per the due dates prescribed in the law and to send deliverable to the client.
7. Complete billings for all indirect tax clients and their recovery.
Income Tax Compliance
1. Preparation of engagement letter for new clients and to obtain signed copy from client prior to commencement of work.
2. Requisition of information from client regarding preparation of return of income and tax computation of clients.
3. Ensure that tax associates prepare the draft tax computations and return of income on timely basis.
4. Review of tax computations and return of income and wealth statements.
5. To send to the client a draft return of income together with required enclosures on email and accord their approval
6. Submission of return of income on timely basis and to send deliverable to the client.
7. Complete billings for clients whose return of income has been filed and their recovery.
Tax Advisory
1. To assist Manager Tax in preparing and attending appeals before Commissioner Appeals and Appellate Tribunal.
2. To assist Manager Tax relating to drafting of tax opinions, drafting of notices relating to monitoring of withholding taxes, tax audits and other miscellaneous notices and to attend the hearings with tax authorities and follow up with tax authorities for effective management of audits and monitoring.
