As a Sales Development Representative (SDR), you will be building our outbound sales pipeline by prospecting online, calling and emailing prospects, setting appointments, and educating companies about how we can provide great value and make their work life easier through our online Software-as-a-Service HR solutions.


Compensation starts with base hourly pay bonuses for every held appointment, which increase as you hit certain goals. We also offer employee benefits such as flexible paid time off, vacation time, 10 paid holidays a year, and more. Successful SDRs may be able to grow into an account executive position with commission within as soon as 9 to 12 months, depending on your skills and revenue goals hit.

But in order to scale, we have decided to build a new team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) that will help us grow our direct sales opportunities faster. We are looking for people up to the task of helping us build out this new SDR team from the ground up and helping us create a repeatable process for the SDRs that will follow. This will be a challenge, but if you can help us succeed, you will have a great deal of growth potential.


What you will do


As a Sales Development Representative, your normal responsibilities include:


·    Generating sales opportunities by researching and identifying good prospects, qualifying leads based on specific criteria, and conducting phone & email outreach in order to set sales demos/appointments with leads.


·   Communicating positively and proactively and following up with prospects, leads, and clients via telephone, email, chat, web meetings, or whatever communication method is necessary.


·  Promoting EmCentrix’s products & services to prospects and clearly articulating the right message effectively via phone, email, or other channels.


·  Maintaining accurate prospect/lead information, organizing and maintaining sales data.


·  Meeting or exceeding monthly appointment quotas.


·  Recommending improvements in our products, services, or internal procedures to improve sales efforts based on your experiences dealing with prospects and hearing their feedback.


 · Other tasks as assigned by management.

Requirements 


·  Highly driven, self-motivated, determined individual. Seriously. Outbound sales is tough. It can also be very financially rewarding if you are good at it, but it's hard work and not for everyone.

 If you lack the drive to power through rejection and keep dialing every day, this is not the right position for you. If you have that drive though, you will probably be a great fit


·  Outbound prospecting sales experience preferred. Cold calling experience and the capacity to handle high daily call volumes.


·  Excellent verbal & written communication skills, a strong customer orientation, and good organizational skills.


·  Must have fundamental computer skills & be experienced with using Microsoft Windows, Outlook, Excel, and Word, as well as a variety of internet browsers. Must be able to learn how to use new online software and so on quickly and effectively.

·  Good time management and multi-tasking skills.


·  Must be able to maintain a positive attitude, handle rejection, and be courteous and professional at all times.


·  Education: High school diploma or equivalent education required.
