Conducts field testing and analysis to ensure the wastewater treatment system meets effluent discharge standards and operational parameters as specified.

Key Responsibilities:

Perform effluent water quality sampling, activated sludge tests (settling tests, dissolved oxygen, return activated sludge rate, sludge wasting rate), and disinfection system assessments (chlorine residual).
Test and document the status of clarifiers (DO readings, sludge level, air-lift pump operation, effluent turbidity) and automated control systems (timers, float switches, flow measurement devices, relays).
Use approved testing kits and procedures, submitting manufacturer specifications and MSDS sheets.
Provide photographic documentation of air distribution systems (diffusers, piping, valves) and lift stations.
Analyze test results and collaborate with the Wastewater Treatment Engineer to adjust plant operations.
Ensure compliance with NSF/ANSI, AWWA, and ASTM standards during testing.
Provide 5-10 customer references of similar scope of work and its US dollar value as part of the proposal.
