We are seeking a meticulous and detail-oriented Senior Accountant to join our finance team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing day-to-day financial transactions, ensuring accuracy in financial records, and providing valuable insights to support informed decision-making.
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
• Manage accounts payable and accounts receivable processes including invoice processing, vendor payments, and customer invoicing
• Reconcile bank statements and credit card transactions to maintain accurate financial records
• Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports and statements for management review
• Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis to support strategic financial planning
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to streamline financial processes and optimize efficiency
• Stay updated on relevant accounting regulations and ensure compliance with statutory requirements
QUALIFICATIONS:
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field
• ACCA or CIMA or CA certification or in progress towards certification
• 5+ years of experience in accounting or finance roles, preferably in e-commerce or retail industry
• Proficiency in QuickBooks (any version) and Microsoft Excel
• Strong analytical skills with keen attention to detail
• Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment and manage multiple priorities effectively
SALARY
Market competitive salary for qualified candidates
JOB TYPE
• Full-time Onsite (Mon-Sat: 12:00 noon-9:00 pm) with alternate work Saturdays
• Candidates should be able to commute reliably to the office on a daily basis
• Only residents of Karachi will be considered for the interview
