 What your responsibilities will be:

  • Building new apps to complement our rich enterprise web application suite
  • Maintaining our existing iOS and Android apps (they're written in Swift and Java)
  • Developing and owning our mobile technology strategy
  • Encourage innovation and a warm, constructive and collaborative environment
  • Think laterally to solve technical challenges potentially with new technologies

Essential Criteria

  • 1+ years experience building native applications for iOS and Android
  • Strong understanding of web services and API-backed mobile app development
  • Know what OAuth is and how to use it securely
  • Comfortable operating in a Git-based development workflow (Git, JIRA, Bitbucket)
  • Experience within the full app development lifecycle

Desirable Criteria

  • Experience with automated testing (unit tests, functional tests, acceptance tests)
  • Experience with React Native and/or Xamarin
  • Relevant tertiary education
  • Experience building cloud solutions on AWS or Azure
  • Experience working with payment gateways/APIs
  • Experience in designing secure systems and strong information security fundamentals would be highly regarded
