We’re looking for a Software Engineer/Developer. You’ll help us improve our products, shape engineering process, and build our software development and engineering team. We’re a small company so you’ll have a lot of autonomy and responsibility.

We’ve accomplished a lot with a little: we have over 100,000 students using our free products, hundreds of thousands who have paid, and revenue well into the millions. Rather than pursuing hyper growth at all costs, we’ve built a profitable and growing company where we truly care about our employees and our students.

We expect you to have worked or shown past experience in:

Rails
PhoneGap + AngularJS
ReactNative
Java

In this position, you will…

Work on architectural and product decisions
Plan, scope, design, implement, and monitor features for our Rails app and for mobile apps
Write lots of code and wherever needed (new features, bug fixes, infrastructure, internal tools etc.)
Do whatever else needs to be done!

You have many of the following…

2 to 3 years of software engineering experience, although we care more about the quality than quantity of experience
Built web/mobile applications from scratch or significantly contributed to existing apps
Released features that have impacted tens of thousands of users
Experience with front-end and back-end
A passion for making a difference and leveling the education playing field

*Performance based Bonus ranging from 2-4 momthly salaries are common in this role with a significant increase in earnings depending on yearly targets.
