Responsibilities:

  1. Develop and implement strategic sales plans to achieve sales targets and expand market share for Butt Paints products.
  2. Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to effectively drive sales performance and meet revenue goals.
  3. Identify and cultivate relationships with key customers, including distributors, contractors, builders, and retail outlets.
  4. Conduct market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive strategies.
  5. Collaborate with marketing and product development teams to launch new products, promotions, and marketing campaigns.
  6. Provide ongoing training, coaching, and support to sales team members to enhance their product knowledge and selling skills.
  7. Monitor sales performance metrics, track progress against targets, and provide regular reports to senior management.
  8. Stay abreast of industry developments, competitor activities, and market trends to inform sales strategies and tactics.
  9. Negotiate pricing, contracts, and terms with customers to maximize profitability while ensuring customer satisfaction.
  10. Represent Butt Paints at industry events, trade shows, and customer meetings to promote brand awareness and generate business leads.

Requirements:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, or related field. MBA preferred.
  • Minimum of 5 years of experience in sales management, with a proven track record of success in selling paint products or related building materials.
  • Strong understanding of the paints industry, including knowledge of products, applications, and customer segments.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate a sales team.
  • Proven ability to develop and execute strategic sales plans, drive revenue growth, and achieve sales targets.
  • Exceptional negotiation, presentation, and closing skills, with a customer-centric approach.
  • Results-oriented mindset with a focus on driving continuous improvement and delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Proficiency in sales management software, CRM systems, and Microsoft Office Suite.
  • Willingness to travel as needed to meet with customers and attend industry events.
  • Valid driver's license and clean driving record.
