Responsibilities :
- Produce high-quality code
- Collaborate with UI / UX designers to create user-friendly front-ends - Work with stakeholders to research requirements
- Provide technical solutions and recommendations
- Participate in discussions about and contribute ideas towards the creation of new features

Requirements
- Atleast 8+ years of native Android application development experience out of which 3 years of engineering management and leadership experience, with a track record of building and growing high performing software engineering teams.
- Has previously led large mobile engineering teams, preferably experienced with scaling and leading multiple geographically distributed teams
- Has experience managing delivery of large enterprise or consumer facing apps (for example, more than 100 mil downloads) on Android
- Deep understanding of Android platform internals
- Knowledge of general as well as mobile platforms-oriented design patterns and strong desire to experiment and work with the latest mobile technologies
- Up-to-date on the latest framework changes, build tools, and libraries, and has in-depth knowledge of mobile-oriented test practices and test frameworks
- Passion for writing readable, maintainable and well-tested code
- Strong understanding of common software development and delivery methodologies; experienced in agile delivery
- Proficient with Java programming languages (Kotlin is a plus)
- Proficient with Android Material Design
- Expert level experience with one or more Android Development languages; Java or Kotlin
- Experience consuming RESTful and WebSockets APIs
- Proficient understanding of code versioning tool, Git.
- Experience with Gradle, Realm, Firebase, Google Maps and Facebook APIs
- Experience publishing apps to Google Play store
