We're an Australian VC-backed startup building a data management SaaS platform for the construction sector.

We're a remote-first, globally distributed team, and we are excited to have rock-star developers join our team.

About the role

We’re looking for a Senior Frontend Developer to help fast track development of our MVP. This role is open globally to anyone who is less than 6 hours behind our head office timezone (Sydney, Australia, GMT+10). This is a full-time position, with the option to bring you on permanently.

Qualifications

You have 4+ years of industry experience in a software engineering role and have a software engineering degree or equivalent experience
Highly experienced in JavaScript, Typescript, React, Next.js, Tailwind, Storybook
Experience with Node.js
You take pride in creating robust frontend solutions
Test-driven development, writing readable unit tests and clearly documenting your work
Capable of actively participating in discussions with our senior backend engineers to make sound architecture decisions
Facilitate collaboration and peer code reviews in a growing team environment

What you'll achieve

You will be developer number four in an early stage VC-backed startup
You will develop new and complex solutions from start to finish: through conception, research, implementation, and maintenance.
Ship and iterate quickly upon launching our MVP to build a product customers love
Make a name for yourself by being part of a truly innovative product

Example tasks

Developing stateful and stateless components from scratch
Contribute to and integrate backend functionality with frontend components
Add features to our collaborative WYSIWYG page
Work closely with the CTO and our tech advisor to strengthen and improve code standards
