CARE International in Pakistan (CIP) is seeking a dynamic Program Manager-DRR to lead the planning and implementation of all its KP-based projects, overseeing aspects such as programmatic, financial, administrative and personnel, as well as supervising Peshawar field office. S/he will be responsible for the timely achievement of various projects’ objectives and will ensure that all project interventions are of high quality and lead to a measurable impact. This includes, but is not limited to, overseeing the projects’ detailed work-plan preparation, identifying external technical support needs, ensuring that appropriate management practices are being used in project implementation and that the monitoring and evaluation systems are being used to provide timely information. The role requires ensuring accurate analysis, improvising and innovating for creative problem-solving, attention to detail, managing people with priority in achieving results, as well as capacity development and support. The role also requires that the field team ensures compliance with CARE’s policies, including CARE’s Safety and Security protocols. The Program Manager-DRR is expected to maintain good working relationships with donors, partners, government officials, PDMA, FDMA, FATA Secretariat, TDP Secretariat, law enforcement authorities, civil society organizations, and other stakeholders.
