ROLE OVERVIEW:

A business analyst (BA) is a member of a product development team who analyzes the business domain, documents its processes and systems, outlines business requirements, and matches a software business model with the software being built. Additionally, BA works on user stories, provides mock-ups, validates functionality and performs user acceptance testing.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Perform research and develop appropriate plans, analyze plans to gather all requirements, and provide effective solutions.
Evaluate business processes, anticipate requirements, uncover areas for improvement, and develop and implement solutions.
Stay up-to-date with market trends.
Perform requirements analysis.
Document business process flow, use cases, and functional requirements
Work with designers to develop graphics for software
Effectively communicate your insights and plans to cross-functional team members and management.
Gather critical information from meetings with various stakeholders and produce useful reports.
Validate that completed product solutions meet your requirements and expectations
Perform User acceptance testing (UAT)
Prioritize resources and initiatives based on business needs and requirements.
Serve as a liaison between stakeholders and users.
Monitor deliverables, inquiries, and issues and ensure timely completion of projects.
Create support and training materials (written or video) for new product features that can be used by sales, customer support, and technical teams.
Be able to coach the junior staff on technical processes and operations

WHAT ARE WE LOOKING FOR?

BS/MS Software Engineering /Computer Science /MBA.
1 – 3 years of experience. Relevant experience in a similar role and industry would be plus.
Experience on independent product management to some extent ( a plus)
Able to apply to understand of applicable regulations (e.g., HIPAA, SOX, HL7).
Excellent domain knowledge of US- Healthcare Industry
Proven experience of Agile Scrum methodology
Proficiency with project management tools, like Jira, Trello, Asana
Excellent technical, analytical, and strategic planning skills
Excellent documentation skills
Experience creating detailed reports and giving presentations.
Excellent time management and organizational skills
Comfortable working in a target-oriented atmosphere
Ability to work under pressure and complete the project by meeting the deadlines
Excellent interpersonal communication skills and should be a good team player
Drive to constantly improve the productivity and quality
Problem Solving and strong Decision-Making skills
Proficient at multi-tasking
Proficiency with Microsoft applications including Word, Excel, and Outlook.
Technical background with experience in software development or web technologies
Must be detail-oriented, highly organized and results-driven
