Overview
Responsible for maintaining/increasing business and sale for all types of tourism packages. As a guest-focused organization, a crucial part of each employees' job is to get and keep guests.
Job Responsibilities
· Increase individual and group sales and marketing of tourism packages, new and repeat business solicitation using sales database, research, and prospecting calls.
· Professional attire, demeanor along with a can-do attitude each and every day.
· Book, coordinate and fulfill winter & summer day groups, events, tours, and other social functions.
· Coordinate fulfillment of groups, events, tours/trips, and social functions booked, to include communication and coordination with other areas of business.
· Maintain sales reports including pace and actualized sales reports by market segment, as well as various other reports that help us track our business on a day to day and year over year basis.
· Organize and execute familiarization trips to generate more individual & group business.
· Generate new ideas for developing new business for all areas of the resort.
· Outside sales calls, visits, email and snail mail correspondence.
· Conduct site tours with prospective clients.
· Work to build tour operator and travel agent business, domestic and international.
· Community involvement, i.e. network within the local community.
· Ensuring all sales materials are current and up to date.
· Maintain sales contacts and data bank.
Qualifications
Minimum qualification of graduation with 5 years field experience. Hospitality sales background preferred.
Max age 35-years-old.
