Clinical Receptionist

The Diabetes Centre Islamabad is looking for a committed Clinical Receptionist to join their team at the Bharakahu location. This full-time role is crucial in delivering a seamless and professional experience for patients by managing front-desk operations, accurately handling patient information, and supporting clinical staff. The ideal candidate will possess strong communication skills, attention to detail, and the ability to perform phlebotomy procedures while upholding strict confidentiality and hygiene standards.

Key Responsibilities
- Greet and register patients in a courteous and professional manner.
- Schedule, confirm, and manage patient appointments efficiently to optimize clinic flow.
- Collect and verify patient information, including medical history and insurance details.
- Perform phlebotomy procedures, ensuring safe collection, proper labeling, and handling of blood samples.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front desk and reception area.
- Accurately enter patient records into the system in a timely manner.
- Respond to patient inquiries and provide clear guidance regarding procedures and wait times.
- Coordinate with medical, nursing, and laboratory staff to ensure smooth patient flow throughout the clinic.
- Strictly adhere to confidentiality and hygiene protocols as per clinic policies.
- Assist with inventory checks and replenishment of front-desk supplies.
- Carry out any additional tasks assigned by supervisors or management.

Required Qualifications
- Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Management, or a related field.
- At least one year of relevant experience in a healthcare environment.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
- Basic computer skills, including experience with medical record-keeping systems.
- Familiarity with clinic protocols, hygiene practices, and confidentiality standards.
- Competency in phlebotomy for blood sample collection and handling.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
- A diploma in Laboratory Technology is preferred but not mandatory.
