Responsibilities

Prepare Journal Entries
Reconcile and manage balance sheet accounts
Assist with monthly and year end closing
Assist with external and internal audits
Verify suppliers invoices before payment processing
Preparation of customer invoices and circulation of customer ledger and aging reports for follow up.
Reconciling the AR/AP sub-ledger to General Ledger.
Petty cash management and review of expense reports
Bank Account reconciliations
Prepare tax computations and returns
Withholding of applicable taxes on payments
Charging and reconciling input/output taxes on Sales

Requirements

Minimum 2 years work experience as an Accountant
Qualification: B.com /M.com/MBA
Must be fluent in English Language
Solid knowledge of accounting regulations
Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills
Additional certification (e.g. ACCA or CPA) is preferred
Working on accounting ERP system is a plus
