Connectia is a Pakistan-focused end-to-end logistics and fleet automation startup backed by well-reputed international angel investors. Currently operating in stealth mode, Connectia is looking forward to building and expanding its core team and providing an opportunity to join the exciting and rewarding journey early on.

We are looking for a senior software engineer who is passionate about developing technology for the next generation of fleet and logistics-related operations. You’ll be leading and collaborating with the team to design and build an advanced, scalable fleet and logistics-related applications. You will build scalable services in order to support and optimize thousands of vehicles and their operations.

As part of an early-stage and high-growth startup, you will also have the opportunity to collaborate closely with company founders, partners, and non-engineering parts of the business. Every member of our organization plays a critical role in shaping the future of our services, team, and culture.

What we are looking for:

4+ years of experience in developing complex microservices and data-driven applications.
Proficient with Node.js & Typescript, at least have 3+ years of experience in this ecosystem.
Knowledge of one of the frontend frameworks like Vue.js or React, and proficiency with HTML and CSS.
Thorough experience building full-stack API first backends and integrating with frontends like a web app.
Have comprehensive experience implementing cloud-native solutions on AWS.
Database skills – You understand the use cases for relational and non-relational data and have experience with different database platforms like PostgreSQL, ElasticSearch, DynamoDB, or Redis.
Understanding of source control (Git), and building CI/CD workflows.
Experience with infrastructure as code tools like Terraform or AWS Cloud formation or CDK.
Experience writing automated tests (unit tests/integration tests/e2e) in TypeScript.
Strong communication skills and fluent in English with excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Strong understanding of the agile software development process.
Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or similar technical discipline.
