Role and Responsibilities

Implement and administer Platform as a Service (PaaS) cloud infrastructure:
Experience with distributed storage and file-system management technologies such as Ceph or GPFS, Proxmox based systems
Mush Have Experience with Linux scripting in Python, bash
Configure and deploy OpenStack Enterprise master hosts, node hosts, authentication, management, applications.
Configure and deploy DNS name-servers, bind, DHCP, Xen, Apache, reverse proxy, Nginx, ha-proxy, high availability, load-balancer, Clusters, software, bash profiles, listeners, permissions, JBoss, tomcat, Virtualization, SSL certificate configuration, Firewalls, IP-tables, ARP, IP, TCP, DNS, UDP, SMTP, FTP, SNMP, storage mounting, Kerberos, LDAP, NTP, Samba, NAS/SAN Storage.
Ability to deploy, manage, and operate scalable, highly available, and fault-tolerant systems
Must be able to compile code and installation of security patches or updates, frameworks, libraries.
Assist in troubleshooting and problem resolution on Linux systems – performance, health, configuration
Assure best-practices and standards are implemented and adhered to for software systems
Perform daily system checks, review and respond to events reflected in various management and monitoring tools,
Perform maintenance functions as required to ensure system health.
Management of SQL/NoSQL databases, MySQL, POSTGRE, BIGCOUCH-DB, MONGO, ORACLE.
Experience with DB failover and high availability clustering.

Qualifications and Education Requirements

Technical (Computer Science / IT / Engineering / Telecom) or equivalent skills and/or equivalent Experience

Required Experience

2 years of experience in a Systems Engineering, Linux/UNIX systems administration
Hands on cloud computing experience with Proxmox, OpenStack, OpenShift, Docker, or other IaaS or PaaS solutions
