Procurement / Logistics Officer

The Procurement and Logistics Officer (PLO) will be responsible for supporting the procurement of goods and services in the regional office in support of both in-kind grant activities and office operations. The PLO will report to the Procurement and Logistics Manager.

Scope of Work

Procure goods and services as outlined in grant agreements under directions of the Procurement Manager in Islamabad and the Procurement and Logistics Manager in the regional office.
Provide support for day-to-day program office operations and logistics needs.
Maintain local procurement lists and schedules.
Solicit bids and quotes from vendors for items in adherence with program policies.
Inspect goods or verify services, confirm delivery and receipt of goods, and monitor the use and disposition of goods.
Confirm that all invoices have been received and submitted for payment.
Other duties as assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications

University degree in relevant field. Master’s degree preferred.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar role with 5 years of overall work experience required.
Relevant experience working on USAID contract in a related role highly preferred.
Experience with grants or small grants under contract programs required.
Working experience in Punjab region will be highly preferred.
Strong computer skills (MS Office suite) required.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills required.
English language fluency required.
Ability to communicate in local languages will be preferred.
