Senior Web Developer

POSITION SUMMARY:

• This position acts as Darulmadinah online ambassador; drives traffic to Darulmadinah websites and social media platforms.
• Responsible for publishing Web and social media content; maintaining and updating Web pages/blogs; monitoring and responding to user-contributed website content, and participating in social media efforts for Darulmadinah.
• As web designer combine form and function to create engaging and effective websites, social media initiatives, mobile applications, and more.

Position functions:

• Posts content on Dar-ul-Madinah's website and on social media pages.
• Involve in getting/preparing content, designing posts, and tafteesh process to make they have done. 
• Design content for social media and website.
• Designing and building the interface, navigation, and aesthetic of websites to fulfill Darulmadinah's needs.
• Integrating client CMS programs and data feeds into websites
• Employing industry and design best practice through the website build process
• Maintaining and providing ongoing design of the website, promos and ad banners, seasonal content updates, special promotion materials, etc.
• Liaising with back-end developers to ensure web and app logic is properly integrated
• Maintains Dar-ul-Madinah web pages and blog(s)
• Contributes to/updates the Dar-ul-Madinah social sites like Facebook and Twitter, etc. to increase likes, reaches, engagements, etc. up to the standard set by the management.
• Works with developers/IT staff to assess any technical challenges (technical troubleshooting) in displaying the content.
• Develop posts/pages on the website.
• Helps develop & document procedures to manage Web content
• Moderates content as it is contributed to the social media and website by external sources.
• Helps plan and implement social marketing campaigns for specific marketing goals
• Monitors social media outlets and response on topics related to Darulmadinah/industry
• Keeps up-to-date with best practices in writing for the web, social media trends, web usability, web design, and industry trends
• Web content data archive management.
• User IDs (email, Skype, SVN, etc.) creation and management.

• Management of Dar-ul-Madinah FTP. To develop WordPress/HTML static, responsive and e-commerce websites.
• To develop social media platforms operational strategy and ensure its smooth execution.
• To ensure timely design and development of all planned posts.
• To develop optimization strategies that increase the Dar-ul-Madinah search engine results rankings.
• To research SEO keywords to use throughout Dar-ul-Maidnah’s website and marketing materials.
• To monitor daily performance metrics to understand SEO strategy performance.
• To identify compelling and high-quality website content, including blog posts and page descriptions for content writers.
• To update content and website links for maximum optimization and search engine rankings.
• To manage Google/Facebook Ads and its overall management and analytics.
• To launch and manage all social media accounts and campaigns.
• To measure & report the performance of each account, gain insights & assess against goals.

REQUIREMENTS:

• Bachelor’s degree preferably in a related discipline.
• One year working experience in the same discipline.
• Strong writing, editing, and proofreading skills.
• Experience of web content designing.
• Experience in writing for the web, content management, and Internet research
• Web graphic designing
• Web programming experience
• Experience in Multimedia Content Development and Web Analytics
• Good knowledge of social media.
• Experience with HTML, CSS, JavaScript and working with content management systems (CMS)
• Experience with social networks and implementation of social media marketing
• Ability to meet deadlines, follow guidelines, and communicate with internal and external clients.
