Data Engineer - Informatica

We are currently looking for a skilled professional to join our team and contribute to migration projects involving Teradata Vantage and modern data ecosystems.

Key Responsibilities

- Lead and actively participate in migration projects, ensuring the delivery of high-quality code and comprehensive functional validation.
- Collaborate closely with Technical Leads to implement solutions that align with design specifications.
- Provide alternative technical solutions when performance or feasibility challenges arise during project execution.
- Design and develop effective migration strategies specifically for Teradata Vantage migration initiatives.
- Analyze customers’ existing technology ecosystems, including both batch and real-time data pipelines, to understand current implementations.
- Evaluate and leverage target architectures that incorporate modern data stack components such as Teradata Vantage, object storage solutions like S3 and Azure Blob, and other cloud-native services.
- Utilize established migration tools and methodologies to efficiently transition technical stacks to the Teradata Vantage ecosystem.
- Engage with customer Subject Matter Experts (SMEs) and Technical Leads to clarify migration strategies and ensure alignment on solutions.
- Identify and report any risks or issues promptly to Technical Leads and Project Managers to mitigate potential impacts.
- Work under the guidance of Project Managers and Technical Leads to ensure timely and high-quality project delivery.
- Coordinate with customer SMEs and stakeholders to meet project requirements and deliverables effectively.

Required Qualifications

- Minimum of 2 years of professional IT experience.
- At least 2 years of experience in data analytics roles.
- Hands-on experience with one or more ETL tools such as Informatica, DataStage, or Talend.
- Strong understanding of relational database management systems (RDBMS) and proficient SQL writing skills.
- Familiarity with Hadoop ecosystem components, including HDFS, Hive, and Spark.

Preferred Qualifications and Benefits
