Project Role Description:  The ideal Candidate will have extensive knowledge within Dashboard and reporting tools.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Synthesize and translate Business data needs into creative visualizations in BI Solutions by Examining glitches in business processes and resolving those Creating visualizations for the   data extracted with the help of Tableau Identifying patterns and meaningful insights from data by analyzing it.
  • Developing, maintaining, and managing advanced reporting, analytics, dashboards and other BI solutions.
  • Performing and documenting data analysis, data validation, and data mapping/design.
  • Reviewing and improving existing systems and collaborating with teams to integrate new systems.
  • Define new KPIs and consistently measure in the datasets
  • Conducting unit tests and developing database queries to analyze the effects and troubleshoot any issues.
  • Creating tools to store data within the organization.

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

  • MUST have At least 6 years of experience in Design reports/dashboards using Tableau/Power BI.
  • Capability to enable users to interact with the data and develop their own data insights using BI solutions.
  • Created action filters, parameters and calculated sets for preparing dashboards and worksheets in Tableau/Power BI.
  • Strong knowledge of DAX queries.
  • Restricted data for particular users using Row level security and User filters
  • Knowledge of data driven platform e.g. OsiSoft PI, SQL Server, Cloudera Impala, Big Data & Rapid Miner.
  • Maintain and optimize all of the product release pipeline phases: Build, Application deployment, Artifact promotion
  • Excellent interpersonal skills including the ability to work with diverse personality types and understand technical issues
  • The candidate is expected to provide technical expertise and recommendations in assessing new software projects and initiatives to support and enhance our existing applications.
  • Work with multiple project delivery teams - responsible for process design, development (Agile Teams)
