Review construction plans and prepare quantity requirements.
Prepare reports, analyses, contracts, budgets, risk assessments, and other documents.
Scrutinize maintenance and material costs, as well as contracts to ensure the best deals.
Liaise with Project/Sub Engineers, clients, and contractors verify costing reports/bill of materials through detail drawings.
Possess a detailed knowledge of past and current building and construction technology, processes, and materials.
Forecast & prepare project costing of the different materials needed for the project such as materials, quantities, labor, and time.
Prepare tender documents, budgets, bills of quantities and other documentation.
Conduct verification of Bills and track changes to the design & construction work, while adjusting budget projections accordingly.
Must be able to read, review, interpret and modify existing building plans.
Perform risk, value management and cost control during construction.
Prepare tender and contract documents, including bills of quantities with the architect and/or the client.
Assign tasks to the Jr. Quantity Surveyor and follow up till completion.
Overview all tasks completed by QS, and then stamped.
Make material cost library all over the province and update on monthly basis.
Maintain the record of all contractors with the feedback.
Visit the project for physical audit request.
