Accountable for full execution of the testing plan and create test reports to describe product evaluation, testing, and correction.
Designs / implements functional test plans and test cases, based on system understanding and analysis of functional specifications.
Develop document and maintain functional test cases and other test artifacts like test data, data validations, harness scripts and automated script
Identify test requirements from specifications, map test case requirements and design test coverage plan
Conduct exploratory testing to evaluate robustness and functionality of products
Perform various types of testing to include: Unit, Functional, Regression, Integration, UX and Smoke testing, verify output from SQL queries.
Create or maintain detailed bug reports with clear repeatable steps and track/verify bugs as problems are found and resolved
Ensure that validated deliverables meet functional and design specifications / requirements.
Build and manage automated testing tools.
Identify bug sources and introduce steps to reproduce and report bugs in internal bug management tools.
