Senior Python Developer

Digilynx is looking for a senior Python developer. Knowledge of ethereum blockchain is a PLUS.

Responsibilities

Designing, coding and unit/integration testing using Perficient methodology
Debugging and troubleshooting code related issues/defects
Producing client deliverables such as detailed design documentation, unit test plans and well documented code
Gaining an understanding of the unique business and technical requirements on each engagement to facilitate the most appropriate solution design
Practicing strong configuration management and version control
Representing Perficient professionally in both client and team situations
Experience working in an Agile/Scrum/XP environment a plus

These are essential to success in this role:

3-5 years experience as a developer/lead, experience in systems design / architecture or similar relevant experience
Extensive experience with python as a programing language
Experience and familiarity with financial services or other mathematically oriented applications or similar relevant experience
Experience with data modeling (logical and physical) and object modeling
A demonstrable interest in building modern applications and services for professional and technical users
Experience with a variety of database systems, both relational and NoSQL
Excellent clarity of thought process and communication ability
Comfortable expressing and defending points of view while respecting those of others.
