Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including designers and marketers, to develop and implement custom Shopify themes and functionalities that align with business goals.
Customize and enhance Shopify themes using HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and liquid template language.
Develop and maintain Shopify apps and plugins to extend platform capabilities and meet specific business requirements.
Optimize website performance, ensuring fast loading times and responsiveness across various devices and browsers.
Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to Shopify configuration, theme compatibility, and third-party integrations.
Stay up-to-date with the latest Shopify updates, industry trends, and best practices, and incorporate them into development projects.
Implement SEO best practices to improve the discoverability and ranking of products on the e-commerce platform.
Integrate third-party services and APIs, such as payment gateways, shipping providers, and analytics tools.
Collaborate with the UX/UI team to ensure a seamless and user-friendly shopping experience.
Test and debug code to ensure compatibility, accuracy, and optimal performance.
Provide technical support and guidance to team members and stakeholders as needed.
Participate in code reviews to maintain code quality and consistency.

Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Web Development, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Proven experience as a Shopify Developer with a strong portfolio showcasing custom Shopify themes, apps, and integrations.
Proficiency in HTML, CSS, JavaScript, and liquid template language.
Experience with responsive web design and mobile-first development.
Familiarity with front-end libraries and frameworks (e.g., React, Vue.js) is a plus.
Knowledge of Shopify APIs and GraphQL is highly desirable.
Experience with version control systems (e.g., Git) and deployment workflows.
Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in an agile development environment.
Excellent communication skills and the ability to explain technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
2-3 years of relevant experience is required
