DevOps Engineer

Digital Dividend believes in valuing their customer experience. In order to achieve customer satisfaction one of the goals is to induct a DevOps engineer in our team. Ideal candidate should have the following skillset:

Skills

A bachelor’s degree or equivalent diploma in Computer Science
2 years of proven experience in field of DevOps
Understanding of the deployment process of different programming technologies specially .Net/.Net Core, MERN, Python and PHP. Experience of CMS applications like Sitecore, Kentico and Umbraco will be considered as plus
Ability to script in languages like bash and Perl/ruby.
An understanding of the best security practices and automating security testing and updating in the CI/CD (continuous integration, continuous deployment) pipelines
An ability to conveniently deploy monitoring and logging infrastructure using tools like Prometheus and Nagios
Proficiency in container frameworks like Docker and Kubernetes
Good to have experience of using infrastructure (IaC) tools like Terraform, Cloud Formation etc.
An understanding of various operating systems, especially Linux, as most public clouds operate on Linux or Unix systems
A strong focus on automation and agile development
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
An ability to work in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple projects simultaneously
Hands-on experience with AWS and Azure. Good to have experience of other cloud platforms like OCI etc.
Deployment experience of both Monolithic and Microservice based applications
Good to have certification in Cloud Security
