IT Networks / Telecom Project Manager Job Description:

Developing project plans, goals and track
Timely delivery of projects
Interfacing with customer’s PMO and technical team from PM perspective
Fronting project meetings with customer and issuing minutes of meetings
Guiding and performing strategic analysis for the project
Organizing and managing all phases of the project to ensure on-time completion
Assembling and coordinating project team members; assigning individual responsibilities
Preparing requests for proposals/quotations and conducting all necessary meetings to facilitate selection of project services and products
Planning and overseeing the preparation and dissemination of project communications
agreeing project objectives
representing the organization’s interests
providing advice on the management of projects
organizing the various professional people working on a project
carrying out risk assessment
making sure that all the aims and quality standards of the project are met
using IT systems to keep track of people and progress
recruiting specialists and sub-contractors
monitoring sub-contractors to ensure guidelines are maintained
overseeing the accounting, costing and billing

Work conditions

Stationed at Islamabad. Working hours: mainly 9 to 6 but deadlines may require additional hours to be worked during critical projects.

Preferred Degree and Certifications

Masters in Project Management or MBA, MIT, MCS, BCS, BIT, Bachelors in PM
PMP: Project Management Professional
CAPM: Certified Associate in Project Management
CompTIA Project+ Certification
MPM: Master Project Manager
CPM: Certified Project Manager Certification
