Education Requirements

MBA/ACCA/ICMA

An understanding of basic bookkeeping and accounting skills is required

Accounts Payable Essential Skills

Analytical skills

Detail-oriented and organized

Leadership abilities

Written and oral communication skills

Problem-solving skills

Good hands in MS Excel

Accounts Payable Roles & Responsibilities

Post business transactions, process invoices, verify financial data for use in maintaining accounts payable records

Review AP aging reports, assist in preparing weekly check proposals and apply for payments against vendor invoices.

Maintain meticulous records of outstanding payables

Generate purchase orders as necessary for all purchasing requests from the engineering team.

Assist in streamlining and improving the accounts payable process

Create controls to ensure completeness, accuracy, and efficiency in daily tasks.

Preparation of bank reconciliations.

Timely payment of company purchase orders and keeping a complete record of payments.

Assist in managing accruals and other financial data.
