We are seeking qualified Finance & Grants Manager applicants for upcoming opportunities through staff augmentation and institutional support. The Finance & Grants Manager will be responsible for managing an assigned portfolio of various types of grants. The Finance & Grant Manager will define pre/post-award grant management processes and provide support to several activities, including training and capacity-building efforts and partner engagement, communications, and reporting. They will ensure compliance with all applicable rules and regulations and provide technical and advisory support to both program and operational teams.

The Finance & Grants Manager will be a self-starter with the ability to easily manage multiple competing priorities. They will be able to partner internally and externally with a variety of clients, stakeholders, and partners; and will have significant knowledge of applicable policies and procedures.

Responsibilities:

S/he will provide overall technical and administrative leadership in the areas of financial management and grants management for the project.
General responsibilities will include accounts payable, cost allocation, quarterly reporting, payroll, budget preparation, grants management, and tracking support.
Oversee the development, implementation, and management of grant procedures in line with applicable rules and regulations and DOPASI Foundation’s policies and procedures
Coordinate grant review processes and serve as a primary point of contact for grant applications
Coordinate due diligence processes, including work plan and milestone development for all associated awards
Develop and implement the program’s grant manual, ensuring that all content is periodically and regularly updated and shared with the relevant staff
Maintain grants trackers to disburse and account for all grant funds
Manage effective relationships with the client, partners, Social Solutions’ staff, technical teams, and grantees
Develop capacity-building plans and monitoring systems for grant award recipients
Review grant/sub-grant agreements

Qualifications:

Master’s degree and 6 years of professional experience or Bachelor’s Degree and 8 years of professional experience in Business Administration/Financial Management or equivalent combination of education and experience. CA, ACCA preferred

Skills & Abilities:

The skills and abilities required to perform the essential job duties of this job are listed below.

Experience working as a finance manager, or Grant Manager with strong finance oversight required;
Advanced knowledge and prior experience using QuickBooks;
Experience working with USAID or other donor-funded projects preferred;
Demonstrated attention to detail, ability to follow procedures, meet deadlines and work independently and cooperatively with team members;
Excellent financial and analytical skills;
Ability to monitor and evaluate financial and monitoring skills of communities through capacity-building efforts;
Ability to build effective relationships with all clients, peers, and stakeholders;
Ability to work hands-on, independently, and within a team;
Demonstrated success managing and leading technical and administrative teams;
Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to coordinate activities with officials from the donor country government, NGOs, and other agencies;
Strong computer skills: Microsoft Office applications;
Experience in general business administration and financial management;
