PHP Full Stack Developer

We are looking for a Full Stack PHP Developer to work within our technology team. S/he will be responsible for building, developing, and integrating web and mobile applications. S/he will be completely hands-on, writing well-formatted code while working within our development methodologies. We prefer applicants to have at least 2 years of experience within all aspects of web development, but we’re willing to speak with exceptional people with less experience.

Responsibilities:

Design, build, and maintain efficient, reusable, and reliable web apps
Work on both frontend and backend of different web apps
Build and maintain the expandable architecture of the product
Work cross-functionally with product, design, and engineering as part of a scrum product development process
Identify bottlenecks and bugs, and devise solutions to these problems
Help maintain code quality, organization, and Automatization
Design code with special attention to performance, correctness, and enterprise-level scale
Take complete ownership of features including design, implementation, test plan reviews and automation test plans
Plan and execute the long-term development roadmap
Communicate effectively with a team member and team building.

Requirements:

2+ years (preferred) of experience with all aspects of web development including PHP, MySQL, RESTful APIs, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery, Ajax and Bootstrap.
Experience with Laravel, Yii, Symfony or a similar MVC framework
Understanding of SQL and NoSQL databases and proficiency in one of them is required
Knowledge and experience with popular hosting service such as AWS
Strong sense of ownership and pride in the products you build
Ability to deliver quality work with a sense of urgency
Ability and willingness to dive into code written by others to figure things out
Able to work in a fast-paced environment with shifting priorities
Ability to be a positive influence on your colleagues
