This position will be responsible for the development & maintenance of WordPress templates, web pages, forms and other related components.

Working closely with our stakeholders in each part of the business, to help them achieve their goals and meet their requirements, while ensuring all web-based communication meets a high standard of design, follows brand guidelines and makes the most use of the latest technologies.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the list below.

Other duties may be assigned, as needed.
Configuring WordPress, adding and modifying templates, web pages, and forms
Working along with the IT team to implement improvements to our platforms
Writing well-documented code and following best practices
Recreating specifications, ensuring responsive design, with HTML and CSS across multiple operating systems, browsers, and devices
Design and implement new features and functionality Identify design problems and devise elegant solutions Qualifications
Minimum 2 years of experience working with WordPress
Post-secondary degree or equivalent practical experience
Good understanding of front-end technologies, including WordPress, HTML5, CSS3, JavaScript, jQuery
Experience building user interfaces for websites and/or web applications
Experience working within team of developers using version control
Excellent programming skills and ability to learn fast
Well-developed interpersonal skills with proven ability to build effective relationships, and work cooperatively with all levels of the business team
Good written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively influence the business
Strong organizational skills, with an ability to handle multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
