EFU Life Assurance Ltd., originally Eastern Federal Union Insurance Company Limited, is a Pakistan-based life insurance company. It was the first insurance company in India founded in (1932) owned by the Muslimsbased in Calcutta. After the independenceof Pakistanin 1947 the company moved to Pakistanand operated in East and West Pakistan. The company ceased to exist in East Pakistanafter it became Bangladesh. Pakistan subsequently reorganized the company to EFU Life Assurance Ltd.

In 1990, the Government of Pakistan reopened the life insurance business to the private sector organisations and EFU Life Assurance Ltd started operations in November 1992 as the first private sector life insurance company. In early 1993, EFU Life commenced its Group life insurance business and by March 1994, the company began writing its individual life business.

Sales Consultant Job Duties:

Meets with customers in a sales environment to drive product sales and knowledge
Demonstrates advanced products knowledge
Adheres to any and all company policies and procedures
Makes sales appointments with clients
Teams with other employees to make sure that product are available which are most suitable for the Consumer.
Generates new leads by meeting with consumers
Selling Of Takaful Services Establish New Contacts For Takaful Business
Uses the Internet to push products to a given target market
Works with the marketing department to develop new sales strategies
Teaches other sales consultants how to make sales to potential consumers
Discovers target markets and advantages of other companies
Demonstrates advanced sales knowledge
Always looks for new ways to make products attractive to customers
