Financial Management:
- Manage day-to-day accounting operations, including accounts receivable, accounts payable, general ledger entries, and bank reconciliations.
- Ensure timely and accurate processing of financial transactions, invoices, and payments in accordance with company policies and procedures.
- Monitor cash flow, budgetary compliance, and financial performance indicators to support strategic planning and decision-making.
Financial Reporting:
- Prepare and analyze financial statements, including income statements, balance sheets, and cash flow statements, to provide insights into the company's financial performance.
- Generate regular financial reports for management review, highlighting key trends, variances, and areas for improvement.
- Coordinate with external auditors and regulatory authorities for the completion of statutory audits and compliance requirements.
Taxation and Compliance:
- Ensure compliance with tax regulations, filing requirements, and reporting deadlines for income tax, sales tax, and other applicable taxes.
- Stay updated on changes in tax laws and regulations relevant to the real estate industry and implement necessary adjustments to ensure compliance.
- Liaise with tax advisors and government authorities as necessary to resolve tax-related issues and inquiries.
Budgeting and Forecasting:
- Assist in the preparation of annual budgets, forecasts, and financial projections in collaboration with senior management and department heads.
- Monitor budget performance, analyze variances, and provide recommendations for cost optimization and revenue enhancement strategies.
Financial Analysis and Decision Support:
- Conduct financial analysis, feasibility studies, and cost-benefit analyses to support investment decisions, project evaluations, and business expansion initiatives.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to provide financial insights and recommendations for improving operational efficiency and profitability.
Team Leadership and Development:
- Supervise and mentor junior accounting staff, providing guidance, training, and performance feedback to ensure their professional growth and development.
- Foster a culture of accountability, integrity, and continuous improvement within the accounting team.

Qualifications and Skills:

Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. CPA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification is preferred.
Minimum of 5 years of progressive experience in accounting roles, preferably within the real estate industry.
Thorough understanding of accounting principles, financial regulations, and taxation laws applicable to the real estate sector.
Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., QuickBooks, SAP, Oracle) and MS Excel for financial analysis and reporting.
Strong analytical skills, attention to detail, and problem-solving abilities.
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Ability to prioritize tasks, meet deadlines, and work independently in a dynamic environment.
