Front End Developer

This is an exceptional job opportunity to join UK’s leading translation and Interpretation company EMPIRE GROUP. We are looking for a full-time Front-end developer for our office located in Phase 7, Bahria Town Islamabad. The incumbent will be responsible for developing functional and appealing web-and mobile-based applications based on usability. You will combine the art of design with the science of programming. You will be responsible for the translation of UI/UX design wireframes to actual code.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Expert skills in JavaScript Frameworks like VUE JS, Angular, React, etc.
Strong knowledge of JavaScript, Less, CSS3, and HTML5 including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model.
Strong knowledge of modern front-end technologies - JavaScript building tools and module bundling (e.g., Web pack, ES6 etc.)
Experience integrating Application Programming Interface (API) calls, consuming APIs for data and 3rd party integrations and working with JSON/XML.
Build high-level user interfaces using rapid prototyping methodologies.
Ability to manage complex requirements, create UI and prototypes based on user requirements
Experience with avoiding common security pitfalls and XSS exploits
Knowledge (conceptual & practical) of working on high traffic & responsive websites.
Strong Understanding of OOP, MVC concepts.
Experience with CMS platforms like WordPress, Magento and Ionic front-end development is preferred.
Proficiency with Source Control System TFS, GitHub, Gitlab, Bit bucket etc.
Experience with cloud services such as AWS, Google Cloud, Google Firebase, or Microsoft Azure

QUALIFICATION/EXPERIENCE

BSCS/BSIT or a relevant degree from a reputed institute.
Minimum 3-5 years of working experience as a Front-End Developer using JS Frameworks.
Experience building and consuming APIs to interact with other applications using REST
Experience in working in an agile environment to quickly iterate and deliver features to users
Strong understanding of Object-Oriented Programming concepts Experience with common front end build tools (HTML5, CSS3, RESTful API/Web Services/API Integration)
