Plan, prepare and deliver lectures based on the approved curriculum that facilitate student learning
Set challenging learning outcomes in accordance with the curriculum for students of all backgrounds and abilities
Communicate learning objectives outcomes to students
Identify and select methods and instructional resources to meet students' varying needs
Organize the classroom and instructional resources to create a positive learning environment
Use an appropriate range of assessment strategies to monitor individual student progress
Grade class work, homework, and tests
Participate in arrangements for external tests and examinations
Provide regular and appropriate feedback on work to individual students
Measure progress and accomplishments of students towards their academic achievements on a regular basis and provide progress reports as required
Exercise open and respectful communication with families, co-workers, supervisors, and other school staff
Create and keep records on attendance, accidents, incidents, and other noteworthy events in accordance with licensing guidelines and program policies
Attend conferences and workshops in order to further advance professional development
Manage student behavior in accordance with outlined guidelines
Provide a safe, thriving, and respectful environment for all students in the classroom and on the school campus
