Seeking applications to hire the services of an Agronomist/Horticulturist having 2 to 3 years of relevant experience

Graduated from HEC recognized universities for appointment at EVA-ANNA AGRO & LIVESTOCK FARMS.

Candidate should be passionate in their respective fields, knowledgeable, goal-oriented, and have strong data collection and analysis skills.

Preferred candidates will have a strong background in biology and agronomy and be fully dedicated and passionate about sustainable production and the development of better and more environment friendly production methods.

Responsibilities will include an innovative farm management, ensuring the highest sustainable agriculture practices data collection/ analysis, plant health and safety, and creating detailed reporting for all field related activities etc. It will be a long term position with compatible salary package. Required / Expertise:

1. The Candidate should have the capability to manage an agro based innovative farm house.

2. Should have appropriate knowledge of soil based and hydroponically growing methods using application of water soluble macro & micro nutrients. Beneficial bacteria, as well as pH, PPM, and EC counts considerations.

3.Temperature and humidity manipulation.

4.Plant diseases, insects and fungi, as well as plants treatment options

5. Field experience in commercially viable crops growing in green houses or open fields using nutrient, type of soil /medium to grow, Sun/light requirements, temperature control, and air flow administration in environment control greenhouses etc.

6. Horticulture equipment & latest on irrigation systems.

7. Capable of performing routine tasks and able to make equipment repairs or notify proper personnel when unable to.

8. Ability to plan ahead, trouble-shoot, anticipate problems and work with problem solving approach

9. Adaptation quest to learn and apply new technologies.

10. Place of duty will be Eva Anna Farms, Hattar Industrial Estate.

Company reserves the right to change the place of duty as well as Job description and can be transferred to any other Agro based project of the Company as and when needed.
