Evaluate Medicolegal is looking for a QA Specialist to join our growing team. The role will require an individual experienced in the provision of high-quality, factually accurate and timely medico-legal reports. This is a work-from-home, remote position.

RESPONSIBILITIES:

Key responsibilities include, but are not limited to:

Review of medico-legal reports in line with quality framework, following relevant regulations and legislation.
Responsible for assuring that every medicolegal report complies with all regulatory, legislative, and quality benchmarks – this is our end product!
Work closely with our extensive portfolio of specialists ensuring due dates, quality and targets are achieved.
Assist with administration and serve our clients with a professional can-do attitude.
Work collaboratively with team members to ensure prioritization of workflow.
Provide feedback and training for medical experts on medico-legal report writing.
Resolve emerging problems & handle compliance issues by providing appropriate solutions and alternatives within time limits, follow-ups to ensure resolution, and escalation techniques.
Must be familiar with the worker's compensation and motor vehicle accident schemes in Australia.
Ability to prioritize and use initiative.
Ability to consistently follow formatting and/or style guidelines.
Knowledge of file preparation is an advantage.
Excellent time management skills.

QUALIFICATIONS:

Experience or qualifications in allied health, legal, or insurance industries, ideally with experience in interpreting medico-legal reports – highly regarded.
Experience in utilizing the AMA Guides and Work Cover Guides for assessing permanent impairment and disability assessments is desirable.
Outstanding literacy skills including comprehension, spelling, and grammar, with a high attention to detail.
A secure, ergonomic home office set up with high-speed internet access and access to and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
