• Observes and assesses NES staff for their job performance and related issues.
  • Assesses formally onboard nursing staff learning needs using valid testing instruments.
  •  Assesses the learning needs of all nursing services staff in collaboration with nursing management team and provides opportunities for their continuous growth.
  • Supervises development of tools for assessment of learning needs of nursing staff.
  • Develops annual plans to ensure all learning needs of all onboard nursing staff are incorporated.
  • Represents Nursing Services on different forums as assigned by Director Nursing Services.
  • Participates actively in all Nursing Division activities.
  • Ensures implementation & accessibility of NES services to nursing staff and allied health staff as per need.
  • Maintains and monitors online credentials of employees of entire nursing division online system activates
  • Supervises activities of International Training Center (ITC) and liaise with American Heart Association for reaccreditation as required.
  • Develops and maintain Job Descriptions of entire Nursing Division in collaboration with Human Resources.
  • Participates in Quality Improvement projects in the role of Facilitator or Team Leader.
  • Coordinates and collaborates with Director.
  • Nursing Services in devising strategies for promoting professional growth and development of nursing staff.
  • Chairs Nursing Education Advisory Committee.
  • Ensures delivery of specialty based courses in nursing units as per NES educational plan in collaboration with Head Nurses and Nurse Instructors.
  • Evaluates departmental/divisional educational activities on an ongoing basis to keep pace with changes and trends in Nursing Services.
  • Evaluates program outcomes and develops action plans to bring improvements in the areas identified.
