Assume charge as Hostel Coordinator while residing full-time at Girls Hostel (24 hours/ 7 days) week.
Admit new residents after verification of hostel dues.
Ensure discipline and cleanliness at the hostel.
Ensure that hostel gates are closed at instructed hours.
Maintain list and record of hostel residents.
Manage Petty cash expenses of the hostel.
Submit monthly utility bills to the Finance Department.
Close liaison and coordination with the housekeeping, maintenance, security, horticulture and other concerned departments to ensure cleanliness, hygiene, health, maintenance, safety & security and maintain the ambience of the hostel premises
Ensuring that hostelries do not leave the hostel premises unauthorized and without informing, and making sure that “in and out” timings are recorded in the book
Ensuring that hostel facilities are not misused/ damaged
Keeping track of all the complaints made by hostelries and making sure that they have been addressed
