Full Stack / React JS Developer

As a team member, you will undertake activities to ensure projects are delivered in accordance with the user requirements and any wider programme. During engagements, you will work as part of the project team following the direction, guidance, and approach.

Your future duties and responsibilities:

Working as a Fullstack React JS Developer you will join a collaborative team, performing design and development activities for web-based user interface applications and delivering high-quality software iteratively within an Agile environment. You'll follow best development practices with quality in delivery at the heart of everything we do; utilizing a pipeline delivery model for automation through to deployment.

• Developing new user-facing features using React.js
• Building reusable components and front-end libraries for future use
• Translating designs and wireframes into high-quality code
• Optimizing components for maximum performance across a vast array of web-capable devices and browsers

Required qualifications to be successful in this role:

You will have previous commercial experience in Fullstack React JS Developer/software engineering within an agile environment. Proficiency with the following technologies is required...

Qualifications 

• B.S. in computer science, software engineering, computer engineering, electrical engineering, or related area of study
• Experience in software development
• Passion for best design and coding practices
• Minimum 2 years of React JS experience
• Ability to understand business requirements and translate them into technical requirements
• A knack for benchmarking and optimization
• Knowledge of software engineering principles, design patterns, and best practices

Experience with the following technologies:

• Utilize the MERN stack (MongoDB, Express.js, React, Node.js) to build scalable and robust applications.
• Design and develop complex and dynamic frontend systems using React.js.
• Proficient in CSS, HTML, and writing cross-browser compatible code.
• Strong proficiency in JavaScript, including DOM manipulation and the JavaScript object model
• Thorough understanding of React.js and its core principles
• Experience with popular React.js workflows (such as Flux or Redux)
• Experience with common front-end development tools such as Babel, Webpack, NPM, etc.
• Knowledge of isomorphic React is a plus
• Familiarity with RESTful APIs
• Knowledge of modern authorization mechanisms, such as JSON Web Token
