The Agent will be responsible for the efficient and effective recovery of delinquent loans. This role requires a proactive and results-oriented individual with a strong understanding of debt recovery processes and a commitment to delivering exceptional customer service.
Key Responsibilities:
Loan Recovery:
- Proactively contact and negotiate with delinquent borrowers to establish repayment plans.
- Utilize effective collection strategies to recover outstanding loan amounts in a timely manner.
- Analyze financial situations to recommend appropriate solutions for loan recovery.
Compliance:
- Stay current on industry regulations and compliance requirements related to debt collection.
- Ensure all loan recovery activities adhere to legal and ethical standards.
Customer Relations:
- Maintain a professional and empathetic approach when communicating with borrowers.
- Provide clear and accurate information to customers regarding their outstanding debts and potential solutions.
Documentation and Reporting:
- Prepare accurate and detailed documentation of all interactions with borrowers.
- Generate regular reports on loan recovery activities for management review.
Negotiation and Settlement:
- Negotiate settlements and payment plans with delinquent borrowers, taking into consideration their financial circumstances and the company's objectives.
Qualifications:
- 0-3 years of experience in loan recovery or a related field.
- Strong knowledge of debt recovery processes, regulations, and compliance standards.
- Excellent negotiation and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using relevant software and tools for loan recovery.
- Atleast intermediate passed. Candidates with higher education in any field from an accredited university will be preferred.
