Social Media Officer

Fazlia Trust is seeking a highly skilled and motivated Social Media Officer to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for managing and enhancing our organization's online presence across various social media platforms. The Social Media Officer will play a crucial role in promoting Fazlia Trust's initiatives, engaging with stakeholders, and driving awareness and support for our cause.

Responsibilities:

Develop and implement social media strategies to increase Fazlia Trust's visibility and engagement on platforms such as Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, LinkedIn, and YouTube.
Create compelling and engaging content including text, images, videos, and infographics to share across social media channels.
Conduct photo and video editing to produce high-quality multimedia content for social media campaigns and initiatives.
Manage Fazlia Trust's website content, ensuring it is up-to-date, user-friendly, and optimized for search engines (SEO).
Monitor social media trends, audience insights, and analytics to measure the effectiveness of campaigns and make data-driven decisions.
Respond to comments, messages, and inquiries on social media platforms in a timely and professional manner.
Collaborate with other team members to align social media efforts with organizational goals and initiatives.
Stay up-to-date with industry best practices, emerging trends, and new technologies in social media marketing and digital communications.

Requirements:

Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, or a related field.
Minimum of 3 years of experience in social media management, content creation, and digital marketing, preferably in the charity or development sector.
Proficiency in photo and video editing software such as Adobe Photoshop, Adobe Premiere Pro, or Canva.
Strong writing and editing skills with the ability to create engaging content for diverse audiences.
Experience with web development and content management systems (CMS), preferably WordPress.
Knowledge of search engine optimization (SEO) techniques to improve website visibility and ranking.
Excellent communication skills with the ability to collaborate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
Creative mindset with a passion for storytelling and using digital media for social impact.
Ability to work independently, prioritize tasks, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
