We are seeking a Data Entry Operator to manage and update information within our company databases and computer systems. The primary responsibilities of this role involve entering data accurately and efficiently from various sources, maintaining meticulous records, and collaborating closely with our data team and Data Manager. Previous experience in a similar position is advantageous.

Key Responsibilities:

Inputting text and numerical data accurately and promptly from source documents into our databases.
Organizing and prioritizing information to ensure efficient data entry.
Reviewing data for errors or inconsistencies and correcting them as needed.
Researching to gather additional information for incomplete documents.
Utilizing data programs and following established procedures.
Generating reports and performing backup operations as required.
Handling document scanning, printing, and maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information.
Responding to information requests and maintaining file accessibility.
Adhering to data integrity and security policies.
Addressing equipment malfunctions and ensuring proper use.

Requirements and Skills:

Proven experience in data entry or office administration.
Proficiency in MS Office and other data programs.
Familiarity with administrative tasks and office equipment such as fax machines and scanners.
Strong typing speed and accuracy.
Excellent grasp of spelling, grammar, and punctuation.
Attention to detail and ability to maintain confidentiality.
Organizational skills with the capability to stay focused on tasks.
High school diploma; additional computer training or certification is advantageous.
