Primary function/purpose
The primary objective of the Finance Assistant position is to contribute to the financial integrity and compliance of organization operations in Pakistan. This involves maintaining financial records and ensuring accurate and timely financial reporting. The Finance Assistant is responsible for upholding financial integrity and compliance within organization operations, with a focus on maintaining reports and providing administrative support.
Major duties and responsibilities
- Maintain all financial records in compliance with the organization's Policies and procedures.
- Compile and provide accurate data to the reporting manager for financial reporting and compliance.
- Maintain all financial data and records in compliance with the audit standards to ensure adherence to organization policies, A-133 regulations, and donor stipulations
- Provide procedural and technical support within the areas of finance and budget to ensure compliance with the organization's policies.
- Ensuring compliance of all tax-related matters with the regulations set forth by the Government of Pakistan's Ministry of Interior and Economic Affairs Division.
- Undertake any other duties as assigned by the organization that are essential to the successful financial management and growth of the organization.
