Hard Skills:

Determines methods and procedures to be implemented and used on most complex new technologies to enhance performance.
Respond promptly during outages and recommend solutions for performance issues.
Maintain network security firewalls and define network access rights.
Oversees the performance of day-to-day networking tasks to ensure network reliability, availability, and serviceability within minimal interruption.
Experience of WAN protocols (BGP, EIGRP, OSPF), LAN/WAN (DNS, IP Addressing, QoS, Spanning Tree, Multicast), Cisco Catalyst switches, Cisco ISR/ASR routers.
Develops and produce documentation for installation, network topology, and troubleshooting of communication hardware or software.
Oversees and participates in network technology upgrades or expansion projects, including installation of hardware, software and integration testing as well as coordinating these activities without disturbing the function of other systems.
Intermediate problem resolution knowledge of hardware/software platform problems in complex layered network infrastructure.

Requirements:

Minimum Bachelor’s degree in IT/CS/Telecom/Electronics from renowned University.
Master’s degree will be an added advantage.
CCIE, CCNP, CCDP or similar certifications will be a plus.
Knowledge of NG-Firewalls (Multi-vendor, Cisco ASA, FortiGate), security products/practices ACLs, Firewalls, VPN etc.
